Back On The Road

The Road Safety team at Dorset & Wiltshire Fire & Rescue have created a vibrant digital leaflet for all drivers returning to the road as we ease out of lockdown. Whether you are returning to work at the office, travelling to meet family or friends as part of the permissible “bubble” or starting the school run; this leaflet covers the importance of vehicle checks given the current MOT exemption.

It also addresses the “Fatal 4” as a reminder of the good driving habits we ought to practice and includes signposting for any challenges families may have faced during recent months.

Over the coming weeks, similar leaflets will also be launched to help develop the confidence of older drivers returning to the road and for those who passed their driving test just before essential travel was introduced.
